Scandalous Lord, Rebellious Miss

Scandalous Lord, Rebellious Miss I enjoyed this one. I thought it was fast paced. He's a suffering hero, wants to be that fun loving man but he needs to replace his brother as the Viscount. Charles feels he was the reason his brother was killed so he has lots of guilt about that and his father dying soon after. His mother has stayed in the country but has been introduced again to Sophie Westby who does interior design now. Charles' mother brings Sophie to London with her to do some decorating. Charles and Sophie had been friends as youngsters. She was a very lonely little girl, her parents had died in America and she was sent to her uncle who doesn't want anything to do with her. Charles is lonely too now that his brother is being trained as the future Viscount.

Charles has been a hell raiser and rake but now he is the boring good boy! Sophie can't believe his uptight ways but she does bring out the bad boy in him.

This is the story of how they reach for the future--very enjoyable read.
