Dr. Marja Pulaski just wanted to get home after pulling a double shift. Unfortunately she hit a man that had already been shot. Kane Donnelly couldn't believe his luck, shot then hit by a car. He had to convince the woman not to take him to the hospital. They would have to report the gunshot wound and that would mess up his plans.
Marja is attracted to Kane and tries to pursue a relationship once she realizes he works at the hospital. Even though his plans can't be altered he finds himself attracted to the vivacious doctor. Will they be able to come together or will Kane's mission blow them apart.
Marie Ferrella has two very well rounded characters that you would not normally see together (she's a doctor, he's an "orderly"), but sometimes things aren't what they seem. Really enjoyed the wrap up of Doctors Pulaski and can't wait for her new series.

I've read all the others in the Doctors Pulaski mini-series and am about to start this one. I, too, liked the other books very much. But then, you can't go wrong with Marie Ferrarella!

I have this one and the before it left to read. I have these two books sitting o my desk now. That way I will read them next and not get distracted by other books.
I have enjoyed the rest of the series!
