Megan MacKeage falls for Wayne Ferris and ends up pregnant. Wayne knows that Megan is in danger and deliberately picks an argument and thus Megan leaves for home. Jack goes to Megan's hometown and now faces the problem of trying to tell Megan who he really is.
In really enjoyed this heartwarming story of a woman coming to terms with her life and a man learning to face his inner warrior. At first I was disappointed when I realized that this story would not be about Kenzie but then I realized that I still have his story to look forward to reading.

I really liked this story
I really liked this story too. Janet Chapman's Highlander stories have been really good all along. I'm also looking forward to Kenzie's story --- it can't come soon enough!
