Jean-Charles Laroque is viewed as a tyrannical ruler and powerful mercenary by the national community. By by the people he is ruling, he is a God send, their savior from their previous oppressive leader. Not only does he demand respect and loyalty of his people, he also shows the same to his followers. He has plans to make his African country a better place with better interactions with other countries. The only problem that he knows about is that someone is trying to take him out of the picture.
The one person that can decide if Jean is taken out of the picture is Emily Carlin. Her decision could either eliminate him or save him. Emily is on a deadline to make her call and she needs to get up close and personal with Jean. By a stroke of surprise and luck, she is brought to his mansion and now has the chance to find out what kind of man Jean really is. But will emotions run her decision or will Emily's thought be clear of what needs to be done for the safety of this small African country?
