I was talking to a girlfriend a few minutes ago and she asked me what was new in my world of romance and while nothing is really new and exciting persay in 'my' personal life--other than waiting to hear a yay or nay on a proposal I sent off, I mentioned RT.
She's an avid reader as of late, buying books like they're going out of style and she's even taking a day off work to go down with me to the booksigning in Pittsburgh.
I realize from going to RWA in the past, that these things are huge and I don't want to miss anyone if I can help it. So, if you want to see Rae and her daughter during either the booksigning on Saturday or the Expo on Wednesday or anytime in between, I'll see what I can do because I live 35 minutes outside the city of Pittsburgh. This is the place to leave comments and we'll see what we can do!

We definitely will! My best-friend here is so excited. I just got off the phone with her and she sounds like we did in high school. She's never been to anything like this. We're planning or trying to plan on going in early on Wednesday and hitting the southside for shopping first or maybe just going to the hotel bar to see who we can see...and we'll have our daughters with us on Saturday, but we can hang around after the signing as well. Her daughter is a huge fan of some of the YA authors as is mine, so this will be ultra exciting even for them.

I knew that, if you're who I think you are--then again, maybe you're not. If you live around Greensburg, then you are. LOL
If you're that close, you should try to at least go to the book signings. Totally worth the five bucks admission fee and a chance to meet some of the people you've met on here. You won't meet nicer folks.

There's another member on the board from Greensburg.
I found that during a pitch when I saw her address and one from Indiana, Pa. I live in a teeny tiny town called Apollo. So, my friend corrected me that from our houses to dahntahn is 45 minutes. I told her I drive a little faster.
