Sense and Sensiblilty by Jane Austen

enjoyed this very much even though LIFE had intruded and I had to read this in fits and starts. Sisters Elinor and Marianne are polar opposites and this story shows the properitary of Austen's times and how each girl reacts to situations involving gentlemen.

Glad you enjoyed it

Was this the first time you'd read it, Eleni? Are you planning to read all of JA's novels?

I lent the whole set of them to a friend and she lost them. Cry I'd had those since school and I miss seeing them on the shelf.

Oh no Claire - how

Oh no Claire - how heartbreaking having your friend lose your books! Stuff of bad dreams. ((hugs))

As for Jane Austen, I've only read Pride&Prejudice and that was only about 3 or 4 years ago. Surprised I know where have I been living? And to answer your question, yes I will find and read them. She was definitely one talented lady.
