SEX AND THE PSYCHIC WITCH by Annette Blair

Harmony Cartwright knows from the moment she slips on the Celtic ring that she will have to go to Paxton Castle.  The ghost of a witch is haunting the castle and only Harmony’s presence seems to have any sort of calming influence.  King Paxton, the owner of the castle, is instantly attracted to Harmony.  Will King and Harmony stand a chance against the ghost?

SEX AND THE PSYCHIC WITCH follows up on one of the triplets first introduced in THE SCOT, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE.  However, it can easily be read as a stand alone and is the first book of a new trilogy featuring Harmony and her sisters.

SEX AND THE PSYCHIC WITCH is a book that will probably appeal more to readers looking for a light fluffy read rather than ones wanting more of a paranormal read.  While the ghost does play a role in the story, the main focus is the sexual attraction between Harmony and King.  The book is chock full of sexual innuendos, so much so that the story begins to appear a bit disjointed.  Harmony’s t-shirts start off as humorous but after awhile get lost in the shuffle of all the other innuendos and vague plotlines.

SEX AND THE PSYCHIC WITCH is a story with unfulfilled promise.  The premise of a ghost seeking revenge should have been entertaining and the character of Harmony had great potential.  Instead, SEX AND THE PSYCHIC WITCH is a book that was far too easy to put down and much more difficult for me to make myself finish.
