Book #41-April challenge-Perry Brewer seemed like a real jerk in the beginning but claimed he was just having a bad day. I guess everyone can relate to that. I know I've said some things I wish I hadn't on "those" days. But he redeemed himself IMO.

It takes great character to try to makeup for your mistakes and even greater...nerve (not what I so wanted to say) to follow someone across the country because of your sense of responsibility. Maybe it made the story a little far-fetched but that's why the story works. Perry is trying to better himself morally and this was just another struggle on his path. And great challenges normally have bigger payouts.

I think Perry was perfect in the story and for plain Jane Kurtz. I could easily go for someone like him if I was Jane. I loved the cover picture and I think it was perfect for both characters. But who I cast to play him in the movie...hmm..have to think that a bit. Maybe David Boreanaz. Or Alex O'Laughlin. Or David Conrad. 

My thoughts--I read the book because of the great reviews and wasn't disappointed. I thought the story was fun and entertaining.
