The old smilie has a more innocent look. It can be used for when you make a boo boo and want to appologize. Or for when you think the hero in a book is just too yummy.

I like that, despite the blush, it's still smiling. That gives it more functionality than the truly embarrassed new smilie. Yes, a sheepish comment on a Hero was much more appropriate with the old one. Jayne is looking into a smilie contest, so be thinking of everything you'd like to have in smilies!
