The Sheikh's Unsuitable Bride by Liz Fielding, H. Romance, #3999, January 2008 (multi author series: book 2- Desert Brides)
When a bunch of people at the car company single mother Diana Metcalf, are out ill, she gets assigned to drive the luxury car because she is to drive a VIP around. The rules for driving VIPs is simply, don't speak unless spoken to. But this proves difficult for outspoken Diana. She is used to speaking her mind because her assignment is usually driving the mini bus of school children. But Sheikh Zahir al-Khatib finds her to be "entertaining" and soon kisses and dancing are also among her inappropriate behaviour. But Diana tries to rein her lust in. She knows the last time she gave in to a handsome man he left her alone and pregnant and Zahir is to marry of his world, someone his family picks out. Not a marriage based on love but on tradition. He knows that Diana would frown upon such an arrangement. Is that why it doesn't appeal to him any longer?
I liked this book. It was a sweet romance like a fairy tale. A real Cinderella tale. I wanted to scream at Zahir sometimes to make up his mind, sometimes. But I like books that make a reader feel involved in the story.
