Alexa and Giovanni had a whirlwind romance and then married. Giovanni had stringet ideas about how a wife should behave. When Giovanni discovers, what he feels is deceit on Alexa's part, he makes her life miserable. Alexa can't take anymore and leaves the marriage and Italy to return home to a small town in England. Alexa, fearing that Giovanni will take her son away from her, should he learn of his son, decides not to tell him he is a father. She attempts to dissuade him from resuming their marriage and requests he leave England. What happens when Giovanni surprises Alexa at her home and discovers a miniature of himself...?
