Lydia is a survivor who's fought two bouts against cancerous brain tumours and opens a knitting shop against her sister's advice, but will she have faith in her choice and dare to open her heart to a man? She makes unusual friends from her first knitting class and this is also their story, Jacqueline who hates her daughter-in-law but wants to make an effort for her granddaughter to be, Carol who's longing for a baby of her own, and Alix who'd just like something in her life to go right for a change. This was definitely more "women's fiction" than category romance and I enjoyed it, but don't know if it would have bit me hard enough to go looking for A Good Yarn if I didn't already have it in my TBR

I read this one last year and enjoyed it. It was my first ever Debbie Macomber read, and I can certainly understand why her books are so popular.

Hmmm. What ever would you do with the second copy? Hmmm. I know. You could send it to me! I'd be willing to take it off your hands. :halo:

Hi there,
I just edited your past few blogposts Sadhbh, because of an error in your code. It was forcing the entire page into Time New Roman and causing issues with the display. Moving forward can you just use the available formatting in the editing suite? I don't want to have to turn off disable rich text for all of our users, but it may be my only option until folks figure out how to use the tools in the text editing suite.

Jayne - I don't know why that was happening as I don't use any
formatting as such - I just copy the paragraphs directly from my
OpenOffice file
If you don't want it in Times New Roman, what font do you want me to use - your formatting options don't specify a default
