This was probably the most tame book about the trials and tribulations of Reverend Black and his third wife Charlotte. Reverend Black is attempting to being a good husband and pastor, but his new baby and ex-mistress threaten to throw a wrench in all those plans. His wife is still a bit crazy, but she's trying to be a better woman. After reading this book, I think this might be the last book in the saga of Reverend Black. I'll just have to wait and see because the ending seemed to good to be true.
