Kal -- I know I give out mostly good reviews, but YOU REALLY DO need to give this one a whirl! It's a gr8 story. One might think it contrived: boy-meets-girl-boy's-son-loves-girl-boy-realises-he-adores-girl-etc It may be cliched. But it's done rather well. I highly recommend it.

A Llama Trekker?
Hey Marty - I have most of the Count on a Cop series but not this one.
Is she really a llama trekker? We had llamas a few years ago.

Ellen -- Samantha really is a llama trekker in Single-Dad Sheriff. I thought a good idea might be to put the ranch on the Canadian plains and "convert" (if you will) the llamas to alpacas -- sort of make the story a little more up to date.
