They work together and have been friends for four years. I normally love friends-to-lovers books, and I did enjoy this one, though it kind of grew on me slowly rather than me loving it immediately. She's a serial dater with issues about commitment. She's just been publicly dumped by a guy who called her a cold fish in bed. She takes up the challenge and changes her image. Her best friend now is put on the spot: feels jealous, feels like covering up the skin she's showing, and is ready to grab her himself. He hesitates though because he doesn't want to be one in a long line for her, he doesn't want to ruin their friendship (he knows her relationships always end quick, so he'd be having sex with her for max a month, which isn't worth ruining a friendship for). She won't take no for an answer though once she realizes he's hot for her. They start an affair. They go through some awkwardness making the switch from treating each other like friends to being in "date mode" and trying to impress and show a different kind of affection/love. It's an interesting story, and the relationship between these two is quite a ride.
Rating: 3.5/5 stars, an entertaining read.
