Jonas returned to the base where he did his basic training. Now he is an instructor in sniper training. An injury to his leg left him unable to perform in special forces, the only career he ever wanted. Jonas didn't need the ties that a family would bring but then he found out he had a daughter. A beautiful child with his eyes. How could Shannon not tell him he had a child and could he ever forgive her?
I usually don't like stories where there is a secret child but this author made it work. I was ticked at first that Jonas was off serving his country and Shannyn didn't let him know she was pregnant. The way the author portrayed the true sorrow Shannyn felt when Jonas did find out, made the story work. This was a very good read and I enjoyed how they each found themselves through one precious child. Rating: Very Good
