Here the books that I have yet to review; hopefully this'll be enough to spur me to action tomorrow... before I get caught up reading something else!
119. Shayla Kersten; The Cost of Eternity & The Remediu; Ellora's Cave ebooks; 2007
120. Shayla Kersten; Gaps in Your Soul / Hidden Force / Past Lies; EC 07-08
121. Rhyannon Byrd; Last Wolf Hunting; SN #38; April 2008
122. Julie Miller; Accidental Bodyguard; Harlequin Special Release; 2003
123. Shiloh Walker; No Longer Mine; Triskelion Publishing; 2006 (epub Jan05)
It's now after 11 pm on Saturday night and this is my first opportunity to get onto the computer... well, mostly it's the first opportunity.
First thing this morning I got up and took my daughter Meagn to school to write her last two finals for her third year of College. At the beginning of May she's taking one of her courses in a spring session; two weeks for one course ~ can you say intense?
When I returned home I could have gone online, but I had basically just started to read Julie MIller's Accidental Bodyguard and I was definitely getting to the good parts... which happened to be right from the very beginning. Funny thing, but when I started to read it I realized that I had read it before... a few years before and I have no idea from where. But it was just, if not more so, enjoyable this time around.
I never did get onto the computer after that. At first it was my husband Joe that had taken over and that was okay 'cause I was reading. When I had finished reading Accidental Bodyguard my dh was still working on his family tree, so I started yet reading Shiloh Walker's No Long Mine; HO-LY COW! It took me a little over four, somewhat interrupted, hours to read it, but I could not put it down. I'll be reviewing it ~ it's book #123 so far this year ~ sometime this weekend... but I've fallen behind on my reviews yet again.
Ah well... I'm reading and enjoying myself, so all's okay.
Anyway, I'll probably do a re-read of a couple of Shiloh Walker's stories.. both related to No Longer Mine. I loved this story so much and I want to go back and see if Her Best Friend's Lover and Always Yours are any the better for reading the first, somewhat related, story. Both these books I read, I believe, toward the end of the '07 Challenge.... we'll see.

kalyko ~ Reading: One of life's little joys and a much needed reward!

Hey Kathy - all this blogging takes up time and while we enjoy
it and love reading other people's blogs it does get to be a chore
after a while, which is when it becomes important to be a bit organised
about noting impressions immediately in the book (even if it doesn't
make it to a computer straight away), otherwise the blog enthusiasm
capital gets used up very quickly.
I currently have twenty books
so it might make it to even higher totals before they get blogged
to blog about (eighteen of which are prepared but not typed), but DS2
is doing his best to make me want to go back to bed with a book or
three
DS2 is really helping my energy levels at the moment - NOT!
So
good luck with your blogging, don't worry, we all understand how
difficult it can be at times, especially with the TBR shouting at you

You're right Sadhbh....
I do make some notes on each of the stories, and it does make it a lot easier, but on the whole, I enjoy sitting to read more.
And regarding your DS2... those years have gone by much faster than I ever thought possible. But at least, while I do get to experience them again I am, thankfully, glad to be able to hand them back to their parents at the end of the day. Never used to be able to do that with my four.

Couldn't you dose his drink with Valium? Shut him in a closet? What? Oh. You think Protective Child Services would object? Well, in prison, you'd have lots of time to read.

March's Member of the Month!
He just has a few bad habits I'm trying to break him of
and he's charming really, just a little obstinate and in a difficult phase at the moment
I could always go for the "easy" solution and give in, but will it be a long term easy solution?

Definitely not! It would turn him into a real monster. Good luck with the training.

I shudder when I see parents giving in...
because sure as shootin' the kids now know that all they have to do is persist and they'll get whatever they want.
Never a good thing for anyone! Especially the kids.
