Header PromotionI am 2 index cards (two!!!) away from finishing my novella. I stayed up way after 1pm last night working on it, and went through 5 cards. I've cleared away several more this morning, and now the final two are all that's standing between me and THE END.
I'm having to stop myself from racing through to the ending. I tend to do that when I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, but this book is one of those labors of love, and I don't want to do that. I'm forcing myself to take a break, and read a bit. (It's hard to concentrate!) But I'll come back tonight and finish it up. Part of the final chapter is already written, so really, it's only like a card and a half of fresh content to write then the first draft will be done. *chicken dance*
If I have time, I need to put up another review. I bought and read an Spice Briefs ebook by Cathryn Fox and Lisa Renee Jones, and if you like it hot...well, no shortage of sexy spice there. Right now I'm reading Desert King, Pregnant Mistress by Susan Stephens. Sheikhs and virgins. What's not to love? :D

I'm going to let it settle over the weekend, then on Monday I'll print it all up and start doing a thorough edit.

Better than me...
I haven't finished, though I've made good progress the last 2 days. I'll be on the last 3-4 k after today which isn't too bad...it'll give me time to edit the thing end of next week and send it off to my editor. I do want to have it in before the long weekend!
