Oh what a beautiful day today is! Not only was it sunny and in the 80s, but spring break started this afternoon as school let out. I have a WHOLE WEEK OFF! Perhaps I can catch up on the many, many books I need to blog! Even better, MORE time to read!! Mentally, we were preparing for Spring Break all week though, as you can well imagine. Hubby surprised me earlier in the week with going to a spring training game over in Lakeland~ what fun that was! I used to really be into baseball years back but I got so frustrated when the Atlanta Braves started getting rid of all my favorite players due to salary reasons. Last year, for fun I joined a fantasy baseball league (yep, proof I'm a geek! LOL) and so I've started enjoying some of that magic again. Besides, all this talk of baseball will get me prepared for reading the new Jose Canseco book!
Hope everyone is doing well and I'm going to work on catching up here over the next week as I got behind in the last month.

glad it was warm there. we
glad it was warm there. we had a gorgoeus day yesterday and I thought it was supposed to be all weekend too. Boy was I wrong! I called my friend Rhonda last nihgt to make plans to go roller blading today since I thought it was supposed to be nice out. but overnight... drastic change. only in teh 50s today instead of the 80s. gray and dreary but no rain at least. and it turned out to be a good day to go blading. Not too hot and not too cold. we skated for about an hour and a half. quite a workout and I was sweating up a strom after that. but I only fell once which surprise dme since I've only ever roller bladed once and that was YEARS ago for only a few minutes. I was alittle wobbly since i'm not used to combining ice skating technique with roller skating technique but i did loads better than eitehr of us expected.

Rollerblading...
I love to rollerblade~ I didn't expect to like it but it's so much fun. SInce I broke my stupid foot a few years back, I haven't been able to rollerblade though as my foot can't seem to handle it any more. Stinks, because I'd actually gotten halfway decent at it.

We are supposed to get snow
We are supposed to get snow tonight and tomorrow whch suits me well. I love the cold.
I used to have a lot of fun watching a farm team for the Braves, the Durham Bulls. I don't know a ton about baseball but the student group at my church used to get together for a cook-out and then go to the basev\ball game afterwards. It was loads of fun!
