This-week-I-launched-into-spring-cleaning.I've-taken-clothes
out-of-my-bedroom-closet.Some-will-be-transferred-to-the
closet-of-the-second-bedroom-which-is-basically-storage-for
Christmas-items-and-summer-picnic-items.Some-are-gone
to-the-giveaway-box-for-the-2nd-chance-ministry-at-our
church.The-rest-will-return-to-the-closet,or-go-to-the
dry-cleaners-or-laundry.THe-big-vacuuming-is-also-going
to-happen.Each-thing-holds-a-memory.Some-things-I-hadn't
seen-in-years-and-forgot-I-had-them.Anyway,this-is-a-time
for-external-as-well-as-internal-cleaning.I'm-hoping-to
let-go-of-the-past-and-live-in-the-present.No-point-in
worrying-about-the-future.80%-of-what-we-imagine-and
worry-about-never-happens.
Who-else-needs-to-do-inner-as-well-as-outer-spring
cleaning?

Pruning-Spring-things
There-is-a-bush-next-to-the-front-door-of-the
apartment.Since-spring-has-sprung,there-was
a-lot-of-new-growth.A-few-branches-extended-the-leaves-onto-the-door.I-mentally-decided-to
prune-it-by-today.As-I'm-taking-out-trash,a-woman
comes-from-the-apartment-next-door,whom-I
don't-know-asking-if-I-minded-them-trimming
my-hedge-for-me.I-told-her,no-thanks,I-have
my-own-pruner.I-did-what-I-was-thinking,
went-in-and-got-my-hand-pruner.I-got-rid-of
everything-new-and-some-old.I-don't-want-to
have-to-do-it-again-too-soon.I-threw-the
trimmings-in-the-dumpster-while-my-coffee
heated-in-the-microwave.Now,to-do-the-laundry.
Today-is-payday,so,I-have-to-make-all-the-stops.
They-see-me-come-and-go,so-they-see-me
going-to-work.If-they-do-me-a-'favor',then-they
may-want-to-start-being-nosy-and-visiting.
They-have-a-family,kids-and-assorted-visiting
relatives.I'm-single-and-don't-need-the-traffic.

RE: SPRING CLEANING!
For us, it consists of moving junk from one room to another so the house looks different.
I always do good on the yard, though. Being a Landscaper was one of the things on my "wanna be when I grow up list."
