As they continue to search for the blackmailer, Delphi sends Bethany James to Monaco to try and find out who is blackmailing Casino Owner Giambi. Pretending to be a rich widow interested in investing in his new Formula1 racer JD, she infiltrates his organization, but when bullets start flying at her and JD, she wonders whose out to get them. This was not my favorite of the AF books, just couldn’t quite get into it. Actually set it aside and read the Whitney Lyles book. Not sure, why, but I never felt like I knew Bethany, the action seemed to overtake the characterization. Truthfully, I just didn’t care about JD or Bethany, which is a bad mix.
