Ok, I know, another SciFi, but I'm in grad school and so personal reading time is at a primium and it just looked really really good!
It was. I'm not really that much of a SciFi fan, except I love Stargate. I could hear and see the characters just as if it was an episode of the show. This particular story brought together the Atlantis team and Daniel Jackson all on Earth. The way they bring in ancient mythology and make it 'make sense' by telling the story of alien civilisations is always interesting to me. The end is something of a surprise as they make decisions about what is right and wrong and choices that will affect the long term of two galaxies, the fate of man, and even the fate of a few dinosaurs!
Very exciting and fast paced read. I would say the only drawback to letting someone under 18 read it is the subject of succubi and incubi that are brought up and discussed and of course, explained as not really being a myth....but actually two factions of an ancient group started from Ancient experimentation.
