I actually don't consider myself a SciFi fan, the reason is, if it's not Stargate, Star Trek, or Star Wars, I'm really not interested. And, I don't usually read the books, excepting a few of them. I picked up Stargate: Atlantis #2 and didn't really know what to expect.
It was VERY good. A very quick and exciting read, just like I like the episodes to be. I could hear the characters voices in my head and see them move just like I was watching the show. My only complaint would be that the character of Ford is in the story when the time the book occurs, he's not in the show anymore. That's a problem.
