Cane Mitchell (short for Hurricane) is an insurance adjuster who meets Bernadette when an earthquake severely damages her house. He's a big help finding her a place to stay and storage for her belongings while the house is repaired but he can't let her into his heart. Bernadette doesn't understand why he's willing to have sex with her but runs away as soon as she tries being friendly with his friends, so when the house is repaired she moves on, but will he come after her?
This was okay but she was too complacent for this to really grab me
