Stranded with a Spy, 10/07, Codename: Danger

Another  book in the Codename: Danger series.  Spies, romance set in France create a good combination in this book!

Cutter Smith, code name: Slash, is an OMEGA operative.  OMEGA is a super secret agency that very few know about.  Cutter has been called in by Nick, the current head of the agency.  Cutter hasn't had any sleep for at least 48 hours since he just wrapped up a mission which leads him to believe this must be an extremely important one for him to be called in just as he is returning to home base.

Mallory Dawes face has become much to recognizable in the states after bringing sexual harrasment charges against one of Washington's congressmen.  When she looses her claim she decides to proceed with a vacation in France to escape the madness the media created.  Does Mallory know that her suitcase contains a disc with the identity of hundreds of government employees including the President of the United States or is she the scapegoat for some unhappy office mate?   She becomes very unhappy with the airport delay after the disc is discovered.  Once again she is going to come under scrutiny but is unaware of it.

Can Cutter convince Mallory he is a business man willing to help a stranded fellow American or is she so spooked by her recent experience she refuses the offer?

Good suspense, the good guys versus the bad guys, romance, lovely impressions of France all written in an entertaining book.  Merline Lovelace gives us another look into the world of intrigue with the good guys being smart, sexy and quick!
