Strangers In Death by J.D. Robb
Lieutenant Eve Dallas knows that things aren't always what they seem. Thomas Anders is a prominent business man found stangled to death in his bed with black velvet cords. It looks like an accident. Just kinky sex gone too far and now a man is dead. But Eve Dallas's instincts are telling her that this is murder.
Eve gathers all the usual gang to help her get the evidence needed to put this killer away. I enjoyed seeing everyone (almost everyone in this one) especially her sexy billionaire husband Roarke. The conversations between Eve and Peabody always make me laugh. As do her encounters with Feeney. Very funny in this one. I thought this one an excellent addition to the series. It was not so much a who done it as it is more about how does Eve prove it. Love it.
If you haven't given this series a try, you are missing out. The characters are wonderful and you grow to love this odd assortment of people that have become a "family" as the books progress. ,
