Summer- Ready, set...

Ready, set…go!

Just that fast, it seems, the school year ended and summer vacation has begun! What does this mean for me? Well, I don’t have to get up as early to make sure my teenager gets ready for school on time. (Sleeping in- yea!)  Summer means more relaxed days, not worrying if the same teenage has finished all his school projects, homework, trumpet practicing, etc. and less carpooling around to Boy Scouts, music lessons, church activities, etc.  (Saving gas and time- yea!)

But on a more personal note, Summer 2008 means the release of two books for me, which I’m very excited about. UNDER FIRE (Samhain Publishing) and DUTY TO PROTECT  (Silhouette Romantic Suspense) will both be released at the end of June. If that weren’t enough, I have to a much-anticipated family trip to San Francisco this summer. All this and blogging too!

Yes, I’ve decided it is time to join the blogosphere…okay, I don’t even know if I used or spelled that term correctly.  So ready or not—here’s summer 2008, and my first blog post!

I promise to attempt to be interesting, post regularly (everyday would be pushing it for me!), and maybe even be enlightening (for those of you who want to learn a bit about writing.)   So happy summer and happy reading!  Laughing
