I went bombing around ton with a mate of mine. We thought we heard funny noises under the bonnet (however to no avail in finding anything). We happened to be braked in a parking square in a plaza that had a second-hand shoppe. Naturally, We stepped in and immediately me eyes zoned in on the used "book corner" the shoppe possessed.
Of course, there was the usual reading material people were getting rid of: TV Guides from 1979, half-finished crossword-puzzle books from 1984 (which no one is going to purchase). But then...JACKPOT!!! TONS and TONS of Harlequin American Romances, Harlequin Intrigues, and Harlequin Superromances, IN EXCELLENT SHAPE, for .25 apiece!
Someone, or group of someone, decided to "thin out" their TBR and donate what they weren't going to read, or had already read, to Value World!
Naturally...we bought them all...! They were ONLY .25 each!
I believe the oldest book is from 1983, though there are many from the mid - to late 90s and early 21st Century. A few of the selections, I already had -- they were that recent -- and ONLY .25!

awesome find
wow awesome find. I love finding deals like that. And where exactly is that? Oh wait no sense trying to go there you bought all the books. Every time I go to Value Village I head straight to the book section. Their harlequins are usually .50 cents
