I'm not a fan of the reality show Survivor, but several of my friends and family are and watch religiously. I did like Tom Hanks movie Castaway. If you had your choice of three items you could be stranded with...what would they be?
Here's what I can think of right off the top of my brain without coffee...
1...My hubby. (For quite a few reasons
) One really good one is because he's a McGyver kinda guy (sp?).
2...Swiss knife thing-a-ma-jig tool thing. Whatever. Can ya tell I'm not a Girl Scout??
3...Rope.

1. I would definitely take dh for the same reasons you'd take yours! He can fix/make anything from nothing.
2. Instant coffee
3. paper with pens- lots of it
(Does dh get to bring 3 things too since he's one of my 3? He can bring a gun...)

Fortunately, yes it did! Our pup was hurt pretty bad and took a couple of months to heal...he never strayed too far from home. We can look back and laugh at how funny it was. It's amazing what adrenaline does to your mind when you have to think fast.

Let's see I would take 1. A large box of matches. Not very proficient with rubbing sticks together. 2. A case of books my Kindle battery wouldn't last long if I didn't have an electrical outlet. 3. A Delta Force or Navy Seal, who has roughing it experience. Plus I wouldn't want to be alone.

if some how i really did end up stradnded on an island and had the choice of things i could have (
) i would take my mobile phone - cant live without that thing lol. lots and lots of sweets and a good read lmao you never know how long you might be stranded for =]

I'd thought of the cell phone but hated to waste my pick on it if I didn't have electricity when the battery dies. LOL! Books are a must have!!
