Taken by the Viking

Taken By the Viking
A Viking raid
They claimed they came in peace, but soon Lindisfarne was aflame. Annis of Birdoswald fled in fear, but she could not escape the Norse warriors.
An honorable captor
One man protected her—Haakon Haroldson. The dark, arrogant Viking swept Annis back to his homeland, taking her away from all she held dear.
A new life—as his mistress!
Now Annis must choose between the lowly work that befits a captive, or a life of sinful pleasure in the Viking's arms!

I really enjoyed reading Michelle's debut Gladiator book and was curious about this one when I found it...I have a secret stash of new books at the office. Surprised She's SO good with her research and like Gladiator's Honor she based this story on an actual historical event and real people. I'm a huge historical fiction fan and I love being swept away to another time and place. There was lots and lots of juicy background stuff to keep me happy in Taken by the Viking...thanks Michelle!

How lovely to come across this. I am so pleased that you liked Haakon and Annis. I had such fun writing it.
