Okay, I have to say that I LOVED the other Nerd books I've read by Ms. Thompson, but this one didn't start my engine quite as quickly. Talk Nerdy To Me is a cute story, that was enjoyable and easily readable, but didn't captivate me quite as thoroughly as Nerd Gone Wild or, my favorite, The Nerd Who Loved Me. Fashion model Eve Dupree is a secret inventor who has built a hovercraft and Charlie Shepard is an Engineer who ends up helping her. Their conflict is that though they are perfect for each other in every way, Eve loves her small town life and Charlie is desperate to escape it in search of something bigger. There's a little intrigue and a lot of Nerdy talk and a satisfying resolution. I'm trying Nerd in Shining Armor next.
