This beautifully written mainstream with inspirational touches as well as a solid love story is about a Fundraising charity heroine who has some 'splainin' to do about where half a million dollars has gone. Her choice of burnt out rodeo star, Rafe Noble, for the latest charity event turns out to be disasterous. The story really takes off for me when Katherine, "Kitty" goes to Montana to make things right. Rafe straightens up and together they get the culprit intent on ruining Kitty's life and getting first dibs on her inheritance. But there is so much more in this book, a great secondary love story, a quest to help the underserved, a family with each person having their own story, and a heroine trying to put the pieces of her life together and the early loss of her mother, in order to move forward and to finally embrace life.
