A Novel of the Feline Breeds
A one-time high-ranking member of the Genetics Council, Scheme Tallant’s father will stop at nothing to see the Feline Breeds eradicated. Even if it means killing his own daughter…
After the Breeds’ main base is attacked, Tanner Reynolds desires revenge--and knows just how to get it. In a bold move, he kidnaps Scheme Tallant and takes her deep into the Kentucky mountains. Yet when Tanner discovers that Scheme herself is a target of her father’s ruthless mission, his vengeance must take a backseat to saving the life of the woman he hopes to claim as his mate. But can Scheme trust Tanner--or is she just a pawn of his passion and ploys?
Another intriguing read into this world of the Breeds. These books are what I call guilty pleasure reads with all the hot explicit sex. But not is this filled with sex but it lets you into the world of the Breeds and the trials they face with trying to fit into a world of hateful humans who want to do away with them after they decide that the Breeds are nothing but savage animals. And I must say these male breeds are very hot the cover of this book is one of the hottest I have seen! That made my picture of Tanner quite nice.
I really would love to be able to track down the older books in this series I’m sure they would give a better understanding of the history of how they came to be. The next installation of this series is on its way to me. Can’t wait! I would also love to see Cabal get his own story.

Wow... great review Sarah!
So often when I do my reviews I *think* that I'm imparting enough information to make them interesting.
Then I read reviews like this one and I realize I have a long way to go; saying just enough, but not too much... that's my other failing... I sometimes tend to ramble.
But I really like the way that you explained the story Sarah... very nicely done!
And you're right, the earlier Ellora's Cave stories really do fill in some background. But the Berkley Sensation stories *can* be read without a back reference.

Hi Kathy
Well thank you for the compliments
Sometimes I have to really sit and think about what to put and always wonder if its enough. It really depends on if I can concentrate too.
But anyway these for sure are able to be read without the the older books, they give you some tibits on the histories of the Breeds that don't make it too confusing. My curiousity is up more than anything.

I hear you!
That's why I now have all the Breed books in my collection; LL is definitely an author that I'm interested in acquiring, if not everything, than definitely Most of her books!
