The Texan's Convenient Marriage (07/06))

As I mentioned in the previous review, I tend to have a love/hate relationship with Peggy Moreland's books.  This book is one of the reasons why I keep buying and reading her books.  What a great story!  My mother handed me this book with a "keeper" sticky on the front, and boy, did mother know best.

Addy and Mack are both strong, honorable characters who both love Addy's baby.  In trying to create a family for the baby, they learn to love each other.  Secondary characters include a slimy ex, a mother with the parenting instincts of a barricuda, and some colorful employees and friends.

Rating: Innocent

RE: THE TEXAN'S CONVENIENT MARRIAGE by Peggy Moreland

Now doesn't this book sound right nice to read?

"I went to a FIGHT the other night...and a HOCKEY GAME broke out!! "

It was nice and definitely

It was nice and definitely worth checking for at your local used bookstore.

And on a completely different note, your quote reminded me of a line in the Elizabeth Lowell book I am logging next - after being accused by the heroine of enjoying their confrontation with the bad guys, hero Joe Faroe replies, "It's like a hockey game.  You don't have to wonder where you stand."
