Bk #55--Back Cover: Luke Chisum spent most of his life running from his past. Now a family crisis has brought the former River Bluff daredevil home. Home to the small-town girl he still loves--and the secret that could tear them apart again.
Sixteen years ago, Luke dated Becky on a dare and broke her heart. Now he's back, rekindling desire and tempting Becky to give him a second chance. But she can't risk Luke discovering the truth about the child she's kept from him all these years.
Becky isn't the only one keeping secrets. A shocking revelation about his own family is about to test Luke in ways he never imagined--as a father and a son....
My thoughts: Let me say now, I really loved the series. I loved each of the guys in the group--but maybe Luke was my favorite. He just couldn't seem to catch a break. Every time he turned a corner, a new truth was revealed. I truly wondered toward the end if he'd be able to handle it all. But he came through like a champ and the one relationship/story I have been looking most forward to came to its conclusion. I was sad to see the series end. Their stories have made me feel like I was part of their group. I feel like I'm losing my friends and I'd really like to see how things work out for them...but sadly I will just have to complete their lives myself.

Yeah I was sorry to see this series end too. No matter what Linda threw at Luke he seemed to be able to pick himself up and dust himself off.
