I had the pleasure of reading Texas Ransom by Amanda Stevens which is part of Intrigues Ultimate Heroes this month.
This was a great read. Graham Hollister is thrown into a dark and scary situation that is so foreign to anything he has ever experienced. When his wife is kidnapped he will do anything to get her back. But when he is contacted Graham is called upon to draw from inner strength if he is ever to rescue Kendall and get her back. Watching Graham draw on strengths you would never think a person like him had inside is truly a ride for the reader. I found I was glued to the book to see if Graham could face adversity and actually come out on top.
This is a hero you come to really like and know that he will be forever changed. The reader also finds that not all is what it seems and the suspense throughout the book and the surprise ending is a great sigh moment. I would recommend this book which is a bit different from previous books that I have read from this author.

Hey CF
Good to see you.
I love the Intrigues series. I also like Amanda Stevens' voice. I think need to pick this one up.
