This was a very cute little story that had several elements I really liked. The author used some fresh, vivid images and the ending had a little unexpected twist. The pacing was good, but i could have used maybe a little mroe romantic tension.
The only thing that got on my nerves was that Colter had a habit of using those sentence-starter triads, where three sentences in a row will start with the same words. This is a fine technique for emphasis, but it needs to be used sparingly.
Other than that, it was a cute story.
