• This book was highly recommended and didn’t disappoint. It was almost a one-day read for me, which is unusual on a work day. I finally had to put it down at 1:30 a.m. It is a classic Cinderella plot.
The heroine is in a commuter train wreck and almost dies. Stewart is a doctor who was at the station meet his late brother’s widow and one-year-old daughter when the wreck happens before his eyes. He pulls the heroine and the baby she’s holding from the wreck and accompanies them to the hospital where he is head of the pediatric ward. He’s irritated at himself for being attracted to his brother’s widow. He never cared for the type of women his wayward brother went with.
This hero reminds me a lot of Betty Neels’ heroes. Quiet, strong, gets things done with a word or a call. Does whatever he can to help the heroine as he struggles against falling for her.

Oh what a wonderful blog.
Oh what a wonderful blog. I really hope this is one on my shelves! I know I have at least one by her in my TBR. Now that you mention it, that is one thing I do like about the MR reads...I start them, get lost in them. The pages fly. You got me started on this whole Cinderella thing and now it is turning into a sort of fun reading almost-addiction. Every time I read and think Cinderella now, I smile!
