My latest werewolf/vampire Nocturne is out on bookstore shelves right now. Moon Kissed. It follows the hero Severo's quest for a mate, and his struggles against the vampires to finally be free from a wicked past. For those of you who have read my previous books in the Bewitch the Dark and Wicked Games series, you may have seen Severo pop up before. I love the hairy dude. 'Bout time he found love. And if you've ever wondered what happens 'after' the story—are the hero and heroine still together?—then pick up "After The Kiss" which is available right here at eHarlequin.com under the Nocturne Bites menu. I revisit the characters from Moon Kissed six months after that story.
So I've been thinking about all the fabulous heroes and heroines that walk across the pages of paranormal romances and thought I'd make a list of the most popular paranormal 'creatures' we love to read about. But I didn't get far. I know the standards, but help me here. What other kinds of creatures are popping up in paranormal romance lately?
1. Vampires
2. Werewolves
3. Demons
4. Angels
5. Shapeshifters (non-werewolf)
6. Dragons
7. ?
8. ?

Djinn
I have a Djinn Blaze coming out in March '10. Have to admit, that was WAY fun to write. I have been very into fae lately, as well... enjoying Richelle Mead, Karen Marie Moning, and Natale Stenzel on that score. :)
