Characters - Mariana manages to be both feisty and vulnerable. Louis is a strong alpha male whose difficult childhood also makes him very sensitive. As for Mrs. Muggins, I wish I had a Mrs. Muggins.
Dialogue - Realistic and sometimes gritty.
Plot - This is an early paranormal, which I did not realize when I started reading it. It is an intriguing read with strong characters, a bossy robot, and some rather stressful moments when Louis is trying to save the loves of his life.
This was my first time reading Iris Johanson. I will probably try one of her longer books now and think I have Killer Dreams in my TBR.
I would share this book with my mother.
