Jo Tulip, continuing on in the grand tradition of her grandmother's helpful hints column, suddenly has more trouble than she can handle. Not only is she left standing at the altar by the man she thought she loved, but her unless she does something to attract a younger audience to her helpful hints column, she'll be out of a job. Not only does she start thinking about doing television spots in addition to her weekly radio show, but she finds a body! Who could have murdered Edna, and why would anyone want to? The reasons go much deeper than anyone, even Jo herself, can guess, although her best friend, Danny, is there to help her every step of the way.
This is a mystery with romance, suspense, and a really ingenious con game. Highly recommended, and I hope that eventually, Mindy Starns Clark will write some for Love Inspired Suspense.
