Copied Blurb:
Amnesia had stolen millionaire businessman Donovan Keane's memory. But one look at treacherous beauty Susannah Horton, and Van could picture every delicious detail of the weekend they'd spent in his bed. She'd staged their affair to ruin an important deal--a deal about to go to her fiancé. Not that Van would let that happen. During one hot night, he'd destroy her engagement, take back the deal and walk away with all the memories he'd need. Good thing, because he'd never be able to get her out of his mind.
My Review:
This was an interesting and enjoyable story. I always enjoy the amnesia twist. Especially when the passionate affair is forgotten, and needs to be relived
My Rating: 3.5

I read Tomas's story, Alex's is in my pile, and someone recommended I read this one, Susannah's story. Hmm! It does sound good.
Hey Janet!
Hey Janet!
I am pretty curious about Alex's story, since Tycoon's One-Night Revenge takes place pretty much at the same time as his story. I only recently discovered Bronwyn Jameson, from reading the Diamonds Down Under mini-series, which was fantastic!

Tee hee...... well I'm disappointed I can't get my hands on THIS one too! I feel like reading it now, before I read Alex's story. I also have the THIRD brother's story on hold, don't recall his name at the moment.
Me... I only started reading more than a handful of Desires this month. People got me hooked on certain authors: Heidi Betts, Tessa Radley... I went and read all the books I could get by those authors. And then someone suggested this series by Bronwyn Jameson, so I'm readin a bunch by her. :) So far, so good.

I have the rich stranger in my hands right now. *wink*
If I say it that way instead of "The Rich Stranger" it sounds more provocative. *grin*
Hey Janet and Christa!
Hey Janet!
All these great stories, so little time!! SO hard to choose which one to read next!
Tessa Radley and Olivia Gates are probably my favorite Desire authors. Were you able to get your hands on Black Widow Bride by Tessa Radley, by any chance?? I haven't read any Heidi Betts...yet.
I gotta get by your blog and see if you posted any of Bronwyn's books....and Van is yummy!!
Haha!! It does sound so much more provocative, having Him in your hands!!
Hey Christa!
Thanks for the info!!
Heehee, I would have to agree with you about the the H's being yummy, but have to add Olivia's Farooq to the list.

I know, isn't it wonderful? I choose three books to read next each day, it's a delightful feeling. *grin*

I have read Black Widow Bride, and I enjoyed it, I was actually surprised by the twists in that one! Good job Tessa. I have read four books by Heidi Betts this May, so check my blog out for them. (unfortunately, this May I've already read 50 books, so you may have to scroll through a few pages, but I label the titles of my blog entries with title, author, SD/HP number.
I gotta get by your blog and see if you posted any of Bronwyn's books....and Van is yummy!!
Tee hee. Indeed. I'm just hitting up the SD books as I get hooked on different authors. I went through Tessa Radley, Heidi Betts, now Bronwyn Jameson, maybe Olivia Gates should be next? LOL
Hey Janet!!
Hey Janet!
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Life has its way of keeping me incredibly busy at times.
It is sooo wonderful to have so many great books to choose from. However, there are times I find the task a bit daunting. As they all want to be read, now!
I was impressed with the twists in BWB, as well. And equally impressed it was her debut book. Heehee, I will definitely go and read your posts for the Heidi Betts books. I am curious to see how many books you will have read by the end of May.
Olivia Gates should definitely be next....or maybe you already have tried her in my absence??
I just preordered her next Desire, The Desert Lord's Bride, What a delicious cover that one is!!

Janet - you had a little typo in one of your posts
it said "unfortunately this month I've read more than 50 books" or something to that effect
I think you meant to say "unfortunately this month I've ONLY read 50 books so far"
or "FORTUNATELY this month I've read more than 50 books"
Weird how those typos just slip in
Hopefully I'll have time to bring my blog up to date so that I'll have my 90 books blogged by Saturday night (I'm aiming at having 96 books read, but if I don't blog the last six until next month, nobody's going to notice, are they
?)
Read a couple of Tessa Radley's today and enjoyed them, and there are a couple of Bron's in my just-blogged list and I read another of the Diamonds Down Under before bed last night
So many books, so little reading time

Hey Tammy... *wave*
Hey Tammy... *wave* Olivia Gates... I don't think I've gotten to any books by her YET. But give it time. I think a book or two of hers is on order at my library.
Sadhbh... you are such a little tease... *grin* with your fortunately/unfortunately play on words. May's been a bit of a crazy reading month, I've got 112 blogged for May so far. :) Crazy eh! My poor TBR pile, I'm pillaging it. (Or as you would rephrase it, my LUCKY TBR pile... I'm pillaging it! *happily*)

I'm not deceived by that
I'm not deceived by that grin....
And hey, randomness... I'm currently reading this book, The Tycoon's One Night Revenge, right as I type. Lol. All this talk in this thread, I finally pulled out the book. I'm about 80% done it.
Hey Sadhbh and Janet!
Hey Sadhbh!
I absolutely agree!! So many books, so little reading time....
Hey Janet!
May I recommend Olivia's new series, The Throne of Judar?? I read somewhere you like the heat, and hers are FULL of heat! I just finished The Desert Lord's Bride by her, and oh my, am I in love !!
And lucky you!! My library has no books by her at all!
I gotta go see what you thought of Tycoon....

Tammy, I hesitate because
Tammy, I hesitate because I'm not really a sheikh fantasy kind of girl. I tend not to instantly like sheikh or royal stories, and I fight the book as I read it. (do you know what I mean by that? lol) It takes me a while to psyche myself up for a sheikh/royal story. I guess I just don't like that part of the hero's identity, or the heroine's identity if she's the one who is a royal.
The stories that I have liked with sheikhs... were Tessa Radley's Desert Bride of Al Zayed (because it had fidelity and a hero who was so intense about his heroine) and Michelle Reid's The Sheikh's Chosen Wife (because the hero loved the heroine SO MUCH)
Hey Janet!
Hey Janet!
I totally understand! But I must reiterate how much I have loved the two Olivia books I have read, both sheikh stories. I do know Olivia has written some Medicals that I have seen fantastic reviews for, and Bombshell or two. Just in case you were interested in trying her books without the sheikh theme. Also, just an FYI, the second book in her Desire trilogy, The Desert Lord's Bride, didn't really have a sheikh feel to it. Just lots and lots of passion!!
When I read that you don't care for sheikh or royal stories, I tried to think of themes I don't care for....heehee, I had a difficult time thinking up one. But I managed one, NASCAR. Just holds no appeal for me.
I Loved Tessa's Desert Bride book, and haven't read Michele Reid's story yet, but I do believe I have that one. Perhaps I should get it out of the TBR, eh??

Tammy... I'll probably
Tammy... I'll probably try those books by OG eventually, I just need to pump myself up for it and get in the mood, get attached to the characters and want to find out what happens.
I fought and delayed reading "The Desert Bride of Al Zayed" by Tessa Radley for a few months before I eventually read it... and I really enjoyed that one.
And yup, I recommend finding that MR book! One of my favourite scenes... the hero shows his estranged wife his yacht, and she asks whether it has a name. He snuggles up behind her and growls into her neck "mmm, Sexy Lady". And by that he's making a personal joke: the heroine is his sexy lady, he named it after her. The heroine says "you're joking" and he calmly responds with "ok I'm joking" (letting her believe whatever she wants). This was really nice because they had been separated for a year, and he bought the yacht during the separation and still named it after her because she was still his woman.
Mmmm.. that was such a WARM little scene. This hero is alpha, but he's so in love with his wife.... mmm!

Mkay, I might be getting curious....
Was that supposed to be an "okay" Janet
I don't want to force you into anything but when I saw your comment about not really liking Sheikh books I said, she has to read my review of TDL Baby, because as you might have noticed from the comments I gave Olivia quite a scare with that review
Don't get me wrong, I like decisive men - an old boyfriend was a Libra and that put me off Libran males for life, it's no accident DH is not Libra
- but the triple A ones (saw this defined on somebody's blog or in some book as arrogant alpha a$$hole and thought it was so apt) just don't work for me. Farooq and Shehab and Kamal are alpha males, they have to be decisive and commanding but they don't HAVE to be jerks and they're not
I don't read half as many Presents as you do, because I genuinely can't stand arrogant, supercilious males and my jerk-sensitivity has an extremely delicate trigger so if Farooq and Shehab didn't set it off, I really think you're safe (and if you don't agree I'll buy the books off you
) - I already made this offer to someone who didn't take me up on it, so I'm not taking too big a risk

Ok.... I will read it
Ok.... I will read it EVENTUALLY. It might be 20 books from now though.
Ok Sadhbh... I just put in
Ok Sadhbh... I just put in an order for OG's The Desert Lord's Baby and The Desert Lord's Bride. Happy? Lol.... I will get to them soonish. Though yeah... i might end up reading 20 other books before I get to it. I have hundreds in my TBR and I get picky and moody and read whatever I feel like at the moment :p
Janet - I would assume you'd read at least 20 books just waiting
for the delivery, so there might even be 100 books between now and when you read it, but i suspect these might be keepers for you (as they are for me) in which case you might want to get to them soon so you can reread them often
Just an idea

Hey Janet and Sadhbh!!
Hey Janet!
I hope you enjoy Olivia's books! Now that you have been pumped up to enjoy them! Lol! Looking forward to your reviews of them!
And it was pretty easy to find the Michele Reid book, as I actually have it in an ebook bundle. I bought it at the end of last year per Katherine T's recommendation. Just haven't gotten to it yet. Ah, the H in the story sounds so sweet!! I just love it when an H does such a romantic gesture. Love it!! Really need to get to her stories, for sure!!
Hey Sadhbh!
I am not really certain here....but did you like Olivia's books??

Hey Sadhbh... well I've
Hey Sadhbh... well I've got the books in my hands already. I actually ordered these ones off kijiji (that's where you can buy things from people in your city, and go pick up the order and avoid shipping. It can be good for used books)
So yeah... I just have to get to it when the mood strikes now. i'm pretty sure I've read 20 books now since I made that comment. lol.
Btw... I think you said you were a SLAB? *evil grin* A few poor bastards suggested I read the JR Ward series on Friday/Saturday... so of course it's Tuesday now and I've already read the first three books and am eyeing up number four....
Tammy... hope you enjoy. :)
Janet - oh another SLAB, that's a major danger these days
at least you'll be able to get your hands on L En when you want it, whereas I have to wait a few weeks for it, but it'll be worth the wait
Hope you enjoy Olivia's books, my offer still stands
