An Unlikely Mommy by Tanya Michaels (American Romance #1203)

I loved Tanya Michaels' Trouble in Tennessee, so of course I had to get my hands on the follow-up, An Unlikely Mommy.

The story: Ronnie Carter is a mechanic and doesn't see herself as mommy material, but then she falls for Jason McDeere, a father to a little girl.

I eagerly awaited this story and I really liked it, just not as much as Trouble in Tennessee. It has nothing to do with the author's voice, her characters or the story. I Think it might have been the little girl. I'm not too keen on children in romance novels right now. So if you don't mind some kids running around you'll find a very charming, entertaining and sexy story.

So, does anyone know when Tanya Michaels' next book is out? :-)

Series: Part of Tanya Michaels' books set in Joyous, Tennessee

Rating: very good

I, too, didn't enjoy UM as much as TiT, I think I didn't like the heroine as much.  I didn't like the way she got involved with a single dad and then decided she couldn't deal with children.  Seemed annoying to me.   However, that said like you, I really enjoy TM's voice and will be looking forward to her next HAR.

Well, the heroine is still

Well, the heroine is still very young, so I kind of understood her being scared. But once she decided to go for it she should have believed more in herself. And another thing. I wish Tanya Michaels had written a whole book for her brother and her best friend and not just a few pages :-)
