This is a part of the Dream Hunter series, an off shoot of her Dark Hunters. A man invokes a demon to kill his brother and is willing to sacrifice everything and anyone to achieve this goal. But the brother is already in pain because of the betrayal of his brother and he has given up his successful career and retreated to the mountains. There he finds a woman goddess Leta who is determined to save him and destroy the demon. He fights her but she gets under his skin and he sees that he can save his own life and ultimately move on. When Leta dies saving him and killing the demon he realizes hiw much he loved her. Hades king of the dead takes pity on Leta and sends her back to him as a mortal where of course they live happily ever after.
This might not be the best of the stories but I did enjoy it. i have read many of her writings and I still have a few to find.

I believe Kalyco recommended this author to me last year. I have not got any books yet but possibly will in the future. I am a bit obsessive about wanting to start with the first book in a series so am checking out the starting point.
