This second book in the Darkheart & Crosse series focuses on the second Crosse triplet, Kat. In book one we find out the triplets are decendants of a line of vampire slayers. As triplets, the prophecy says one will become a slayer, one a vampire and one a healer.
Kat teams up with uber sexy Jack Rawls, the vampire hunter. When not searching for the evil Cyrus Kane believed to be the "vamp zero", sparks fly between Kat and Jack.
This book is extremely enjoyable and leaves you primed for the third sister.
I had mixed feelings about
I had mixed feelings about this one. While I did like the story Kat bugged me at times. I do think though, that the role destiny chose for her was fitting.

how the personalities of the heroines is so clearly defined and they seem to alomost take on a life of their own. Kat was really a cat. I enjoyed it though...
