This is the first book in a new miniseries from the Desire authors from Australia and New Zealand. The Blackstones and Hammonds are rivals in the diamond business. Kimberley Blackstone was estranged from her father and ex-husband at Blackstone Diamonds and working for the competition.
When the unthinkable happened, Ric Perrini had to bring Kim back to the fold and hopefully back to his arms.
I really enjoyed this book. Desires are a shorter story than some of the other lines and there is not always as much room for character development as in some of the other lines. Ms Jameson has delivered a story with the depth usually seen in longer books. Very well written. I enjoyed both the female and male leads and the interaction between the two. She also introduced a number of secondary characters that will have their own books further along in the series. Reccomend highly.
