Vows of Silence by Debra Webb

Lacy and her friends live a secret - one of them is repsonsible for the murder of an abusive husband, only their vow of silence has kept them from discussing who and why. All equally guilty has been their motto for 10 long years but now the time has come for secrets to be unravelled.

Enjoyable read - the intrigue and mystery was kept up until the end of the novel. Lacy was a confused heroine under enourmous pressure of keeping the secret with her friends. It doesn't help that the chief of police, Rick is the man she has never been able to forget. The danger escalates as does Lacy's resolve to get to the bottom of Charles' murder.
