i laughed. i cried. i fell in love with nathan--totally, head over heels! and i want rhian and min to be my friends (my daughter IS the same age as Jem, i mean if we lived in the same town, they could be friends and we could too, right?) that was how REAL i felt these characters were! they all have a wicked sense of humor but the love is layers deep.
i loved the entire thing, totally got caught up and swept away in it. and i cried at the end--the part with the kids, i can't give it away!
i am so psyched to have found an author that i enjoy whose upcoming books look like something i am excited to read!

I read this one last year and really enjoyed it as well. I agree that it's a great story and the characters are so realistic. Glad you liked it.
