MarcieR! Congrats, Marcie. Email me at christine@christinerimmer.com or go through the email Christine Button on my website, www.christinerimmer.com to claim that two-in-one.
Congrats again--and everyone, thanks so much! Just want to say again how much we appreciate our community here. You guys are the best! Not to mention, the main reason we created the SSEAuthorblog.
A lot of you said you would definitely show up on the weekends. But many didn't. Is that like real life or what???
So we bloggers here discussed it among ourselves and decided to have the best of both worlds. Q&As will go up Friday, and since we generally have no bloggers on the weekend, you'll have some nice content for Saturday and Sunday if you drop in. Or stop by Friday, if you're not a weekend blogger.
Thanks again, all!
Here at the SSE AuthorBlog, we’ve been talking about extending our content to the weekends. We even tried it this past weekend, with the Q&A of my June release.
And now we would love to get a little input from you about your own preferences re weekend web use.
So here’s the question—or I guess I mean, the questions.
1. If you knew the author Q&A’s were going to be on Saturdays, would you drop in sometime over the weekend?
2. Are you generally too busy on weekends to do much on the web?
3. Are the weekends your best time to be on the computer, using the Internet?
We're trying to find out not only what you would do if you knew we were here weekends, but also whether you consider the weekends a good time for reading blogs and such. So feel free to comment beyond just answering the questions.
And this time I’m giving away a 2-in-one of my own In Bed With the Boss and The Last Man She’d Marry by Helen R. Myers. Both are SSEs, and both in one volume.
Post your opinions here Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I’ll draw the winner on Friday morning. And thanks so much for helping us out with this.

I would definitely drop in
I would definitely drop in on saturdays to read the Q & A's. When I'm home I always find time to go online on the weekends. It's tough with baseball season though because I stay at my grandparents to go to the games when the team is home and they do not have a computer.

Weekends
Weekends are just like all the other days of the week to me. I pop in to read blogs any day of the week or should I say every day of the week. So whenever you post I'll read it.

reading online
I definitely have more time on the weekends, though I try to go on line every day. Saturday mornings are out - run errands and have brunch with my mother most weeks. But Saturday afternoons and Sundays, particularly during the winter, I spend more time on line.
I usually can't get on during the week day - I can't access the Harlequin community on my work pc. Fortunately they have a lap top in the lounge with no surf controls, so I sometimes log on at lunch, But not every day.

i guess i am different than
i guess i am different than most, as weekends i am generally too busy to be on the internet. With working all week long, I spend the weekends for relaxing, cleaning and spending time with my kids. I generally don't even check email over the weekends.
No special weekend
I work only on the weekends, 14 hours on Fri and Sat and 11 on Sun, so anything done over the weekend, I would totally miss out on. Weekends are NOT good for me, personally. Four days a week, Mon-Thurs I sit home and do not a whole lot but household things, and play on eharlequin. Those days would be so much better for me, because I wouldn't miss them. Fri, Sat and Sun I litterally, sleep, work, sleep, work. No time for anything else.

1. If you knew the author
1. If you knew the author Q&A’s were going to be on Saturdays, would you drop in sometime over the weekend?
If I saw it under recent posts. I don't tend to search out new topics.
2. Are you generally too busy on weekends to do much on the web?
I'm on the computer everyday. Actually, it's kind of frustrating when things slow down on the weekends. A little more activity would be nice.
3. Are the weekends your best time to be on the computer, using the Internet?
Like I said above, I'm on the computer everyday. In general, one day isn't better than another.

My blog: Books to the Rescue
There's really not
much of a difference for my time on the computer... unless we've got *stuff* that needs doing on the weekend... but by and large...
any day works for me. The weekend's really nice 'cause I don't have the little ones around so I can pretty much do and go where I want to, when I want to.
So for the answers to the questions:
1. If you knew the author Q&A’s were going to be on Saturdays, would you drop
in sometime over the weekend? YES!!
2. Are you generally too busy on weekends to do much on the web? NOPE, NO WAY, NUH UH...
3. Are the weekends your best time to be on the computer, using the Internet? Doesn't make much difference.

Weekend blogs
Some weekends are better than others, but I do tend to access the internet at least once during the weekend.
1. If you knew the author Q&A’s were going to be on Saturdays, would you drop
in sometime over the weekend? I would try to drop by and check it out, but more than likely Sunday afternoon would be my opportunity to check it out.
2. Are you generally too busy on weekends to do much on the web? Depends, some weeks, yes, some definitely not.
3. Are the weekends your best time to be on the computer, using the Internet? Not usually, but I'd definitely make a point to drop by if I knew the Q & A's were going to be posted on the weekends.

No, I'm not saying much. Which isn't my usual style at all, as you know.
But I'm trying not to throw my opinions in there. This is about what you prefer!

For me, weekends are usually too busy. I can occasionally get in on a yucky Saturday or Sunday afternoon. So overall, I might catch it on Monday, but definately would miss the weekend.

Weekends
I do try to stop in a little bit over the weekend, but I find that I'm much more tied up with family activities than I am during the week. I can check in often during the week while I'm working on my computer from home, but on the weekends, my DH and DD tend to want my time and attention, thus giving me far less time to check in.
When I am able to check in, I'm always glad to see something interesting to read. Posts tend to be a bit thin over the weekends. So, I don't think anyone would complain about having author blogs posted over the weekends, but I'm not sure they'd get a lot of traffic until Monday a.m. Also, keep in mind that things posted on Saturdays are often "buried" in the Recent Post list by Monday morning by book reviews and things, so posts might be harder for people to find if they don't specifically search the SSE author blog.
