Wedding Plans Amuck part Deux

Update for all those who have some interest. Wedding plans continue to go amucking...

The plan is to get married aboard the Dive boat at the Marina where it is berthed. Too many people showing up to actually go asea. Still, will be having the Captain doing the ceremony dockside. Alas, Dock Master absolutely, vehemently nixed setting up tents on the grassy knoll just beyond the parking lot. PANIC!

Have now found place nearby to take care of reception. Good news: people will get air conditioning and less stress for me about set up and tear down processes. Bad news: spending more money than planned, but still not breaking the budget.

Still haven't found a dress *sigh* There were a couple of potentials, but I'm too fat to fit in skinny-minnie sizes *heavy sigh* (pun intended) On a bright note: now have the wedding rings... sort of. I couldn't find ANYthing I liked, so I designed one. Went to a mall jewelers and the sales guy worked with me to come up with something that wouldn't put me in debt for the next twenty years. Below is a picture of both wedding bands - both are custom. My man's because of the engraving on the simple gold band. My ring isn't EXACTLY like the picture ('cuz it's sort of a composite of what me and sales guy puzzled together). But it's pretty close. White gold for our bands. My dolphins are yellow gold for a two-tone ring.

I am very happy with the results. I'm still going crazy with all the detail stuff. This is what uber rich people don't have to deal with because they have wedding planners. *sigh*
